Project Showcase: Pool Deck Paver Installation

This project features a complete pool surround built with interlock pavers, designed to provide a durable and attractive surface around a rectangular in-ground pool. The paver layout extends from the house to the pool edge and beyond, creating a generous deck area on all sides for lounging, seating, and poolside access. An iron safety fence encloses the pool perimeter, meeting Quebec pool fencing regulations for residential properties. The fence design uses vertical iron bars with a self-closing, self-latching gate, maintaining an unobstructed view of the pool from the house and patio while providing the required safety barrier. The fence posts are anchored into the paver surface with appropriate base plates. The clean paver layout uses a consistent pattern throughout the pool deck, with the pavers cut precisely to follow the pool coping contour. The result is a unified hardscape surface that serves as both a functional pool deck and an extension of the home's outdoor living area.
